COMMUNITY ORCHARD

WHERE IS IT?
The orchard is in the south east corner of the Scrase Valley Nature Reserve. It can be accessed from Haylind Road (off Wilmington Crescent) or through the nature reserve.


WHEN DID WE START WORKING AT THE ORCHARD?
We started in autumn 2009.

HOW MANY TREES ARE THERE?
There are 50+ mature fruit trees on the site.




WHAT IS GOING ON AT THE ORCHARD?
The friends of the nature reserve and the orchard are working to clear the undergrowth to improve the access to each tree. They have numbered the trees and are in the process of identifying the trees.

WHAT TRAINING IS THERE?
Sat 29 and Sun 30 January a Fruit tree pruning course. Tutor Bryn Thomas.
